What is a cake smash?
A messy, fun-filled session to celebrate your baby's first year of life! There will be lots of playing with and smashing cake made just for them!
When is the best time to schedule a cake smash?
I recommend scheduling about 3-4 weeks before your child's birthday! My turnaround is typically 2 weeks, which gives time to make prints for the party!
What does a cake smash session include?
EVERYTHING! All of my cake smash sessions include a custom theme setup provided by me, access to my client closet, and a custom cake by "Flourish Cakery" to make a first birthday session absolutely perfect!
How many pictures will I receive?
Included in this session price are 15-18 edited and final retouched high-resolution images (depending on the package). This includes skin retouching, backdrop extension and more!
How can I prepare for my cake smash session?
You can bring wipes for cleaning all the yummy cake off of your baby! I suggest snacks such as puffs (just in case!) and a drink for in between those big bites of cake! Most importantly... RELAX and enjoy how perfectly these will turn out!
Do you also take formal shots during this session??
Yes, I start with formal candid shots before the messy part begins!
